Honored Country Germany

In this year's organization of the Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF), the honored country will be the Federal Republic of Germany under the title "made in Germany" occupying more than 6,000 square meters, where exhibits and services of leading domestic entrepreneurship companies will be presented.

Germany's participation in the 88th TIF will be a great opportunity to strengthen and deepen Greek-German political, economic, and business relations. At the same time, it will support a rich program of events with planned themed days for educational topics, networking meetings, as well as corporate presentations.

In addition, a diverse cultural program will take place more widely in Thessaloniki in collaboration with, among others, the German Embassy in Athens, the German Consulate General in Thessaloniki, the German-Hellenic Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Goethe-Institute and the DGJW - German-Hellenic Youth Office.

THEMATIC DAYS AT THE 88th TΙF

The following thematic days are planned with interesting lectures, symposia and B2B meetings.

Indicative program:

09/09/2024 - Logistics, transport, traffic, maritime economy.

10/09/2024 - Health industry, medicine and medical technology, pharmaceuticals.

11/09/2024 - Renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, environmental technology, sustainability.

12/09/2024 - Education and research.

13/09/2024 - Digitization, digital economy, data economy, start-ups.

On the opening and closing weekends of the 88th TIF, there will be special events on the topics of tourism, food and agriculture, disaster control and urban development, while the artistic and cultural events will run throughout the TIF.

The German participation is organized under the high supervision of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, while the construction and preparation of the exhibition stand has been undertaken by the Leipzig Exhibition Organization (Leipziger Messe International).
