The student scientific community of AUTh will have a strong presence in this year's AKADEMIA, which is the meeting point of the educational Community in the 84th TIF. The A.S.A.T. Research student Group (Aristotle Space & Aeronautics Team) of AUTh presents three innovative projects, in the field of Aerospace, at pavilion 14 and the outdoor area  Α06.

In detail the projects are:

Aeronautics: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) of different geometry aiming to participate in the world Air Cargo Challenge (ACC).

Rocketry: the only student rocket science project in Greece, regarding the design and manufacture of a three- meter rocket, recently accepted for participation in the Spaceport America Cup, New Mexico USA, in 2020.

Cubesat: deals with research, study and design of one cubic nanosatellite(10x10x10 cm). The goal is to participate in the ESA Fly Your Satellite competition of the European Space Agency and generally, to conduct research measurements and experiments in space.

The student team A.S.A.T. started in 2015 and operates under the auspices of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Today it counts more than 70 members from various faculties of the university while it is one of the ten best aeronautical teams in the world.
